People and culture

I’m George Georgiu.

I came to London from Romania in 2016, couldn’t speak English, and learned it by working as a cab driver and talking to customers in my cab.

At night, I taught myself editing from YouTube, every day, for two years.

That obsession became my craft.

I went on to study Media Production at the University of East London, graduated with a First Class degree, studying mostly in my cab, and built my experience through real projects, real clients, and real deadlines.

At the moment I am a Master (MA) student at UEL.

Now I focus on documentary storytelling, and I am currently directing and editing a full one-hour documentary about Vincenzo Muratore, a marble sculptor from Sicily living in London.

I work with patience, respect, and serious attention to detail.

Because when you film someone’s story, you are not making content.

You are building their legacy.
