HOW IT WORKS
Frequently asked questions FAQs
What kind of films do you make?
Documentary films focused on people, process, and purpose. These are interview-led, observational, and built around real stories, not scripts or promotions.
Is this an advert or a promotional film?
No. This is not advertising. The aim is to document who you are, how you work, and why you do what you do, without selling language or staged messaging.
Who takes part in the film?
Founders, artists, makers, workers, and anyone directly involved in the work and its history.
How long does a project take?
Most projects take between one and three weeks from first conversation to final film, depending on filming time and editing depth. Exceptions 4 - 6 months.
Do we need to prepare a script?
No. There is no script. Conversations are guided, but natural. The story comes from listening, not rehearsing.
Where does filming take place?
In your real working environment: studio, workshop, office, home, or site. Wherever the work truly happens.
How can we use the finished film?
On your website, at exhibitions or events, in galleries, for archives, or as part of your long-term public record. The film belongs to you.
Is this suitable for artists and cultural work?
Yes. I work with artists, studios, galleries, makers, and cultural organisations who want their practice and process documented with care.
How do we begin?
We start with a simple conversation. No pitch, no pressure. Just to see if this is the right fit.
Can you showcase the film on your website or portfolio?
Yes, with your permission. You own the finished film in full. I may request the right to show short extracts or the full film as part of my portfolio and exhibitions, always with your approval and proper credit.
George from Vision Graft Media taught me that my story is worth preserving, my children will look at it in 20 years and feel what I felt building their future. Maybe inspire them to build something to make this world a better place. Thanks a lot.
